Steel composite bridges share a rather small part of the total bridge market. Nevertheless, the reduced weight of the steel main girders and the robustness of concrete slab give rise a variety of structural forms and to interesting applications of these systems, especially if combined with ingenious construction methods, like launching, lifting, rotation or a combination of several of these methods.
