Digital Climate Formation Amid the Rise of Artificial Intelligence Technology

Work climate is a complex organisational phenomenon that has been studied from various perspectives in the past three decades. Despite its long tradition, research that pays specific attention to the work climate that exists in the digital economy is unjustifiably rare. Few studies have empirically investigated how a digital climate takes shape in an organisation. The preliminary findings reveal learning and experimentation to be essential interactions as they allow conformity on the perception of work practices among digital workforces. Accordingly, our early findings show that this conformity enables a new type of work climate-which we have termed digital climate-to take shape in this particular organisation.
