An English-conversation Textbook Chapter/Supplementary Handout Design for First-year Nutrition Majors at the Tertiary Level in Japan
In this article, the author proposes a d e s i g n f o r a t e x t b o o k c h a p t e r / supplementary handout that could be used with nutrition majors for tertiary-level firstyear required introductory Englishconversation courses in Japan. To create the design, the author drew on the "Active Learning" pedagogical methodology, the ESP literature, and the relevant SLA literature regarding how best to facilitate the learning of lower-proficiency learners.
