Due to the growing number of space debris orbiting about the earth, cost effective space traffic control and space debris elimination techniques are inevitable. The fact is that the orbital debris is self-generative due to satellite breakup as a result of collision with space debris. The probability of threat to life is bound to increase with the increase in space debris over the years.
