Chickpea is the second most important legumes next to faba bean in Ethiopia. The productivity of chickpea in the country is below 2 t/ha but its yield potential reaches 5-6 t/ha. The major reasons attributed to non-availability of widely adaptable and high yielding varieties. Therefore; the objective of this experiment was to identify and recommend a widely adaptable and high yielding variety.
