The posterior drainig veins if present, should be ligated carefu 】 ly during this procedure . During Jan, 1989to Sept. 1991 , 67 cases of right nephrectomies out of a total 339 cases were reviewed on surgica ! grounds of the right renal vascular pedicle, The indications for right donor nephrectomy include D multiple renal arteries or proximal branching in the donor left kidney ( 90%) , 2>retransplantation in the recipient ( 5 % ) . In approximately 20 % of the cases there were more than two right renal veins .
