Adaptation of labour migrants as a function of social management

The twentieth century has already been named an era of migration; Russia has not avoided this trend and, moreover, has faced an enormous flow of immigrants. The new social situation deriving out of this situation calls for adaptation to take place in the framework of the formal and informal institutions of the host society.
