<p><strong>Abstract.</strong> Subglacial water influences the dynamics of ice masses. The state of subglacial pore water, whether liquid or frozen, is associated with differences in electrical resistivity that span several orders of magnitude, hence liquid water can be inferred from electrical resistivity depth profiles.
