I Perception and blindness are important metaphors in ethics. 2 Much unethical and deeply destructive behavior results from a failure to see the moral significance of human situations. Simulation exposes students to the kinds of complex concrete situations in which moral issues can arise quickly and without red flags. It can enhance moral vision.
