This paper discusses the structural design of a new type of chuck-type continuously variable transmission, introduces the design idea of the continuously variable transmission, and analyzes the working principle and main structural characteristics of the continuously variable transmission. For the first time, a variable diameter pulley drive variable speed mode is proposed. The design and analysis results show that the structure of the transmission is reasonable.
