Building materials industry serves as a basis for the functioning of the construction sector of the economy and develops mainly under the influence of raw materials and consumer factors. Its products are economically intended for the production of means of production and today the construction raises a number of requirements for industrial systems for the production of building materials based on the need to ensure technical progress in construction with the transition to new architectural and construction systems, introducing the latest technology, efficient materials; minimization of resource, labor intensity and energy consumption during the construction and operation of residential, non-residential and industrial facilities; ensuring all environmental requirements for the production of products and their long-term exploitation. It is obvious that the specificity of the functioning of the construction industry as an important component of the Ukrainian construction sector development in the conditions of macroeconomic instability is highlighted. Given the territorial features of functioning of the construction industry, on the basis of the aggregate indicators obtained using the method of principal component calculated weighting factors for each component of development in regional terms.
