Fiber reinforced cementitious matrix (FRCM) composites represent an effective solution for strengthening and retrofitting existing reinforced concrete and masonry structures. The bond behavior between the FRCM composite and the support is of particular importance for the effectiveness of the strengthening intervention. In this paper the FRCM-concrete bond behavior is investigated using a three-dimensional numerical approach. The numerical model presented was calibrated and validated with a wide

The results obtained from the numerical model of one of the specimens tested are shown in this paper. Good agreement between the experimental and numerical load responses and the strain profiles was obtained.
