The purpose of the paper is to identify and analyze the performance tasks of the pianist-accompanist, which appear before him in the process of learning and performing the vocal cycle "Three Ukrainian wedding songs" by M. ... positional role of the piano part and dramaturg functions of the pianist-accompanist were analyzed. The significance of the piano part in the creation of song's harmonic and tonal color, metro-rhythmic freedom and improvisational development, in the formation of specific recitative-declamatory intonation sphere were described and characterized. The dynamic, features of sound formation and strokes, means and principles of vocalist and pianist ensemble, means of register, timbre and tempo contrast, methods of polyphonic development and pedal using were analyzed in detail. Author indicated what physical, psychological, intellectual qualities of the pianist are necessary for the proper interpretation of this cycle. It is noted that the main performing principle in this cycle is the partnership between pianist and vocalist, the interpretation of the piano part as equal to the vocal part. Author noted that the pianist must demonstrates metro-rhythmic freedom of performance and skills of performing improvisation, the ability to differentiate the musical text and to sound all the layers of multi-layered texture. The perfect performance of all pianist stroke and convincingly doing of preludes and interludes, in each songs are very important for accompanistpianist. Author emphasized that the accompanist must use the contrast of soft and percussive sound formation and to be able to switch between different sound attacks, achieving a quality ensemble in different conditions.
