OPTICAL AND EPR STUDIES OF VO2+ IONS DOPED ZnS-CdS COMPOSITE NANOPARTICLES

VO 2+ ions doped ZnS-CdS composite nanoparticles have been synthesized by chemical precipitation method. The prepared sample was investigated by different spectroscopic techniques such as optical absorption (UV-Vis) and Electron Paramagnetic Resonance (EPR) studies. The results and analysis reveal that site the VO 2+ ion occupied in octahedral symmetry with tetragonal compression having (C4v) symmetry in the host lattice.
