The aim of this research was the use of Socio-critical and Problem-oriented approach integrated with green chemistry to develop participant's 21st century skills in hydrocarbon and petroleum learning. This approach connects concepts to social issues in participants' lives. This research was conducted in grade X from 78 high schools in Jakarta, Indonesia.
