Features of Development of HIV-infected Infants with Rapid and Slow Progression of the Disease

The paper analyzes the development on the first year of life of 83 perinatally HIV-infected children with rapid and slow progression of the disease. The comparison group consisted of 52 uninfected children born to HIV-infected mothers. Psychomotor development, state of skin and mucous membranes, as well as of lymph nodes, liver and spleen were eassessed.
