The research findings are as follows, firstly conflicts arising in the operation of public transport are caused by political and economic interests, secondly, the conflicts involve the government, business community and the community. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan bagaimana konflik yang terjadi si ruang publik. Di mana ada konflik yang terjadi antara transportasi konvensional dengan transportasi online dalam aktifitas nya ruang publik. Perubahan sosial ekonomi melalui digitalisasi kehidupan publik membuat aktifitas sosial ekonomi juga berubah. Namun pada praktisnya perubahan tersebut juga menemui beberapa tantangan. Penelitian ini lebih jauh ingin melihat bagaimana perubahan dalam digitalisasi sebuah sistem transportasi publik membawa perubahan dalam kegiatan aktifitas ekonominya, konflik yang timbul adalah ketika sebagaian orang terbagi menjadi dua yaitu sebagaian masyarakat yang dapat merespon perubahan sosial ekonomi melalui sistem online termasuk hadirnya tranportasi online dan yang belum bisa menerima perubahan terhadap aktifitas sosial ekonom yang ada. Temuan penelitian adalah sebagai berikut, pertama konflik yang timbul dalam pengoperasian angkutan umum disebabkan oleh kepentingan politik dan ekonomi, kedua konflik tersebut melibatkan pemerintah, kalangan bisnis dan masyarakat.
