Indian Retail Business where as of today many big box retailers , specialty stores , hyper markets occupying a major pie of the Retail Industry , whereas the traditional Mom and pop stores gradually losing their presence in the retail space , the traditional grocery Mom and Pop store where one can easily find the daily needs commodities. more » ... stores, super markets is giving intense competition to the traditional Mom and stores. .Now it is time for the traditional Mom and Pop stores to take some initiative and develop a strategy so that they can keep themselves alive in this competitive market. Otherwise if they do not think and act different, competition will swallow them gradually. The objective of this paper is to study and develop a marketing strategy for the traditional Mom and pop Stores so that they can cope up with the competition.
