This type of research is classroom action research. Subjects of the research were students of SMA Negeri 15 Pekanbaruconsisting of 34 students in class XII. The purpose of this study is to improve the low student learning outcomes becausestudent learning completeness was only 5.56% while the maximum exhaustiveness criteria provided from the school was 82.Efforts were made by changing the method used, namely from conventional to STAD method.
