This presentation (slides in French) was created for the "Interfaces numériques" strand of the 9th Frankoromanistentag held in Münster, Germany (see I begin with the evolving notion of an interface in two works of Milad Doueihi and I assert the basic fact that a map has always been a kind of interface.
