Cartesian difference categories are a recent generalisation of Cartesian differential categories which introduce a notion of "infinitesimal" arrows satisfying an analogue of the Kock-Lawvere axiom, with the axioms of a Cartesian differential category being satisfied only "up to an infinitesimal perturbation".
