The purpose of this study is to examine the relatedness between self-efficacy of parenting for the children with developmental difficulties and social support by her husband, friends and the professionals, by means of a series of questionnaire. Also it was indicated that the mothers who were difficult to obtain informational support from her husband and friends showed less self-efficacy to interact with the children actively. On the other hand, the amount of social support by the professionals wasn't relating to the self-efficacy of parenting. The effective quality and quantity of social support for the mothers of children with .developmental difficulties were discussed.
