This case describes the development and application of a national electronic medical record system, iSanté, to drive improvement as part of Haiti's national HIV quality management program. The Haiti Ministry of Health, with support from donor agencies and local implementing partners, developed iSanté in 2008 to support public health, specifically to facilitate and prioritize use of data for quality improvement and real-time monitoring of HIV care and treatment nationwide.
