Experimental and Numerical Investigation on Tribological Performance of Grooved Texture

In order to study the influence of the angle and arrangement forms of micro-grooves on the tribological performance of the contact surface, the finite element analysis software was used to simulate the grooved textures with different angles and arrangements. The YLP-20 laser processing system was used to process grooved texture on stainless steel disk surfaces, and the Tribometer (UMT-2) was also used to conduct tribological test under the condition of rotation.
