The author is affiliated with a professional graduate school for landscape architecture and an academy of landscape planning and horticulture, and teaches ecology to graduate and lifelong learning students. The author has also developed a good relationship between graduate and elementary schools by linking environmental study themes. In this way, methods, materials, and new developments in education can be shared between professional graduate schools and other educational institutions; an additional advantage of sharing materials is the opportunity for peer review of program content.
