The effects of electrochemical removal reaction of lithium from the Li-doped Bi-2212 phase on its structure and superconducting properties have been studied. Lithium was inserted into and removed from Bi2Sr1 .5Ca1.5Cu2Oz through an electrochemical . method at a constant applied potential at room temperature. The original crystal symmetry, tetragonal structure, was maintained and any secondary phase was not formed throughout the electrochemical reactions . Lattice parameter c of the doped
