This study was designed to inquire into the effect of care worker's empowerment on job satisfaction, organizational commitment, and turnover intention. For this, a survey was carried out on 200 care workers in elderly care facilities located in Chungcheong area from May 16 to May 30, 2011. Analysis showed that their empowerment has a significant impact on the improvement of job satisfaction and organizational commitment, and the reduction of turnover intention.
