A specific sector that showed sustained growth was agriculture, which proved to be capable of produce and export a large variety of high-quality products, among them fresh grapes. The significant increase in exports of this product was generated by higher world demand, the good performance of domestic production, and the correct phytosanitary control and mainly due to the opening of new markets around the globe. One of the markets where the exports of fresh grapes was destined is Canada, country related to Perú with an FTA and until a few years ago a market that showed constant positive evolution for the Peruvian fresh grape's exports. In the present research project, it is proposed a study of the dynamism of fresh grapes exports to the Canadian market and to know the factors for which the exported volume is currently contracted.
