While heritage and cinema are two different disciplines, researchers find considerable similarities between them. In his paper, the different messages transferred to people by them, are discussed. Both are messengers for visual aesthetic and spiritual experiences, nostalgia stimulators for communities, reflectors of cultural identity and enhancers of the self-esteem.
