The interpolation errors of bivariate Lagrange polynomial and triangular interpolations are studied for the plane waves. The maximum and root-mean-square (RMS) errors on the right triangular, equilateral triangular and rectangular (bivariate Lagrange polynomial) interpolations are analyzed.
