The purpose of the study was to improve pre-service science teachers' awareness on the effectiveness of laboratory method in science education. A study was designed as a case study of qualitative research methods. The study group was made up of 28 pre-service science teachers attending at Bulent Ecevit University academic year of 2012-2013.
