To continue increasing electric vehicle (EV) sales requires increasing numbers of car buyers to consider EVs. Policy makers, automakers, and infrastructure providers continue spending on EV purchase and use incentives, increasing EV models, and expanding charging and fueling networks. Are increasing numbers of consumers aware of these actions and considering EVs? Survey results over multiple years indicate the answer is, "no," even in California, a state noted for its leadership.
