Ankle fractures are among the most common injuries treated by orthopaedic surgeons. Approximately 2% of the general population will sustain an ankle fracture during their life. This study was done to study incidence of ankle fracture among general population. The present study was carried out over a period of 5 years. Total number of incidence of all fractures of bone was recorded among the general population of 5 nearby villages. A total of 2653 patients were checked and recorded in the study
