This concept paper was submitted as a contribution to an open idea competition by the Bio4Comp project (H2020 GA No 732482). The challenge was to devise a method for encoding and decoding of information from cytoskeletal filaments for parallel biological computing. The idea to use ssDNA and sequential strand displacement for encoding information on filaments achieved an honorable mention by the jury.
