The art of Javanese tradition in the era of globalization is increasingly backward due to the flood of global culture. However, in the Surakarta region the Javanese tradition art still exists. This research aims to describe the variety of Javanese Islamic art tradition in the Surakarta region. This research uses descriptive qualitative method.
