From the previous reports 1 l , z) , 3 ) , 4 >, it was believed that kanamycin was composed of n-(6-amino-6-desoxy) glucopyranose, n-(3-amino-3-desoxy) glucopyranose and desoxystreptamine, and these were glycosidicolly linked together 5 ' , 6 ) , 7) . In the present paper we should like to propose the structure of kanamycin.
