The subject of emotional intelligence is considered one of the modern subjects and it is one of the positive aspects in personality. Despite the modernity of the concept, the emotional intelligence is among the factors that help an individual of being compatible in his life. This research paper offers a theoretical framework about emotional intelligence, its components, its importance, the reasons for its spread, and how to measure it. It also has some studies that tackled emotional intelligence in the Kuwaiti environment.
