In recent years, low-valence iodine-catalyzed oxidative coupling reaction has made rapid progress, providing an effective method for the construction of C-C, C-O, C-N, C-S, C-P and other chemical bonds. Compared with the transition metal-catalyzed oxidation coupling reaction, this protocol is metal-free under mild conditions.
