Game-Like Situations and Research on Choice Behavior(The present status of behavioral economics)

5ω dy o 切 eα ' v α Traditional and more recent research on choice behavior has restricted the experimental procedures inthree ways :restrictions on static preperties of the alternatives and choice behavior ; a dispropor − tionate emphasis on reinforcers and reinforcement schedules ;and disregard of possible regularvariability or sequences in the participant5 ' choice5 . more » ... e game task composed of two types of discriminative stimuli ( predictive and reporting stimuli )and two types of responses ( choice and performing responses ) , After a brief introduction describing game theory for analyzing choice behavior in predictive game tasks as normative theory, we discuss experimental procedures cQrrespQnding to five components of game theory: players , payo 仟matrices , alternatives , moves and strategies , initialconditions , and playing procedures , Based on this discussion , we conclude that thepredictive game task isappropriate for a wide range ofexperimentaI procedures ,
