SINGER OF THE PARIS OPERA. —We stated, in a former number, that this very ingenious piece of mechanism had been made conjointly by Messrs. Charrire and Mathieu, of Paris. Upon this, we had a communication from the latter, who claimed the honour exclusively to himself. To be quite clear on the matter, we thought it fair that M.
