The green microalgae Dunaliella acquires very significant economic values for its richness in carotenoids (β-carotene), glycerol and other accessory pigments, applied in various sectors such as food, pharmaceutical and nutraceutical activities. In this work, we have evaluated the effect of culture medium on production of biomass and carotenoids from this microalgae.
