Responsibility for violation of oath by public servants in Ukraine with subsequent comparison with the responsibility for violation of the oath in foreign countries has been analyzed. ... special meaning, a special moral duty to the person and to themselves. The «general» model of the tort aspect of the institute of oath in the official law of Ukraine was analyzed. It is legally established that a person who has violated the oath will be held accountable. Violation of the oath in Ukraine is a disciplinary offense for which a person is brought to disciplinary responsibility, and the type of disciplinary punishment for such misconduct is defined - dismissal.
