The paper describes the impact of the end of the first World War in Italy and specifically on the Italian Carabinieri Corps. The Carabinieri have been involved along the war period as a combatant unit, military police, aviators, counter-intelligence specialists and many other activities on the front-line or in the Country far from the Italian army but close to the citizens.
