Learning is a critical capability for virtual group effectiveness. The objective of this study is to understand when learning occurs. Once we understand when learning occurs we are better able to stimulate learning to enhance the effectiveness of virtual groups. Additionally, understanding the nature of learning triggers and the results they produce informs how we may achieve desired learning outcomes.
