Pretendo, assim, comprovar a importância da iluminação cênica como linguagem significante do espetáculo teatral, investigar suas possibilidades de criação neste tipo de espaço e exemplificar os resultados da pesquisa com o projeto de luz criado. ABSTRACT This article's study is directed to theatre in public school, more specifically, how it is, or not always is, thought the issue of stage lighting for theatre pieces presented at school. Through the experience with the play for children "The biggest flower in the world," presented in an ordinary classroom of a Municipal School, I've made an analysis of its process of creation, assembly and control of the lights and a brief study the structure usually found in public schools. I intend thus to prove the importance of stage lighting as a significant theatrical language of spectacle, investigate its creative possibilities in this kind of space and exemplify the search results with the light design created.
