SOeGov : A Service Oriented E-Governance Approach for Effective Service Delivery

In recent years there has been an exponential growth of e-Governance in India. It is growing to such a scale that requires full attention of the Government to ensure collaboration among different government departments, private sectors and Non-Governmental Organisations(NGOs). more » ... proposed integration of different government departments using a Service Oriented e-Governance(SOeGov) approach with web services technology and Service Oriented Architecture(SOA). The proposed approach can be effectively used for achieving integration and interoperability in an e-Governance system.We have demonstrated the working of our approach through a case study where integration of several departments of the provincial Government of Odisha (India) has been made possible.
