In this study we report the synthesis of carbon nanotubes using Green chemistry (Olive Oil) for application in dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSCs) as counter electrode materials (cathode). Prior research has resulted in using platinum deposited over transparent conducting oxide (TCO) as a cathode in DSSC to achieve high efficiency cells.
