Prognostic significance of miR-203 and ZEB1 expression in early-stage hepatocellular carcinoma
2021
Journal of Cancer
Approximately one-quarter of patients with early-stage hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) suffer from tumor recurrence within the first year after hepatectomy. Identification of patients at high risk of recurrence and new therapeutic approaches are crucial to improve clinical outcome. This study aimed to assess the prognostic significance of miR-203 and Zinc finger E-box binding homeobox 1 (ZEB1) in early-stage HCC and explore the association between the expression of ZEB1 and miR-203 in HCC.
