A voltammetric technique was used (differential pulse voltammetry with a carbon fibre microelectrode) to investigate dynamics of the changes of catecholamine overflow in the corpus striatum following electroconvulsive stimulation (ECS) of chloral hydrate-anaesthetized rats.
