This study aimed to compare the characteristics of venous thromboembolic disease (VTE) in Korean to Caucasian population. XALIA-LEA and XALIA were phase IV non-interventional prospective studies with identical designs that investigated the effect of rivaroxaban versus standard anticoagulation for VTE.
